I know. I love how they are from the back, makes the owls so much more mysterious.
the owls are really, really cool. shooting them from the back is definitely a surprising decision - but it works.
Yes, and it is interesting to compare it to front facing birds such as Luke Stephenson's Budgies - http://www.lukestephenson.com/
Both focus on birds being the only subject but they evoke such different emotions.
